Women in Leadership
Course Overview
Women make up almost half the US workforce, yet they are promoted to leadership positions at a rate far lower than their male colleagues. What accounts for this leadership gap? How can organizations foster and develop women leaders? Studies show that having women in leadership positions brings many benefits to an organization, including greater accountability and a culture of work-life balance. Yet it can be difficult to determine the barriers to women’s advancement, and even more difficult to surmount them. Learning how to foster and develop women as leaders not only benefits individual employees but can benefit your entire organization.
You will be able to recognize these events and grab the reins with more confidence. This course touches on understanding the leadership gap, vital leadership traits, and how to overcome various barriers. With our Women in Leadership course, you will recognize the confidence in you that it takes to become a great leader. With the right networking and mentoring your confidence will grow and you will develop into a great leader. It is never easy to take the lead, but with our course, the challenges will be welcomed.
